Rouge Tomate offers a unique restaurant experience rooted in timeless interior design
Built on the grounds of the old Copacabana nightclub in Manhattan, Rouge Tomate Restaurant brings a chic and modern sophistication to the dining experience. The two-story, 15,000 square foot restaurant includes a bar/lounge upstairs and fine dining below. Special features include private suites and a semiprivate dining area that look onto a pool, a central dining room with an open display kitchen, as well as glass artwork which descends from the first floor to the basement unifying the two floors.
Horton Lees Brogden developed a lighting plan to enhance the design and color woven throughout the restaurant, creating a sense of drama and contrast within the relaxed atmosphere. Sumptuous textures and sustainable design were part of the vision set forth by the design team led by Bentel & Bentel.
